Educational Qualification and experience:

• Should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science obtained from a recognized University with at least 60 % marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.
• At least 8 Years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/ College Librarian.
• Evidence of Innovative Library Services, including ICT in a Library.
• A Ph.D. degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science /Archives and Manuscript Keeping/ Computerization of Library.
• Should have adequate knowledge of English, Hindi, and Library Automation.
